Lake Wateree State Park SC

Just got home from a camping trip to Lake Wateree State Park SC. The high temps were in the 60s and lows in the 30s.

We enjoy kayaking on Lake Wateree. The staff is making continuous site & rest room improvements.  Had a small beach in
front of our site, great spot for fishing & putting the kayaks in. All sites have electricity & water. There is an Airstream
event here one or two times a year and they fill up the complete campground during the event.

Some of the NC SP are closed, but but believe most of SC SP are open! Already thinking about the next camping trip!
Unleaded regular was $1.94 per gallon in Rock Hill SC today! Sure is handy when towing!!!!!!

Campground staff always working hard to improve the campground. It's about 15 minutes from I77 and less than a tank of gas round trip
towing from our home, low gas prices in SC are always a bonus when camping there.

Understand, We used to live close to Lake Erie and always had to wait for the spring thaw. Can't wait to visit Canada this summer!
