We've had the water slosh out before too, but you always want to have a little bit of water in there otherwise the seal won't work as well. When we're about to leave I just do a "quick flush" by pressing the pedal rapidly. It lets the water in the bowl out, but also lets a tiny bit in so it stays sealed. No sloshing since then.

Tinkeringtechie, would you still need to leave some water in the toilet bowl if you lubricate the seal?

And welcome, Chris! My husband and I are senior citizens too, although if you ask me about it, I will deny it! 3 sons scattered all around the US, 1 granddaughter, 2 dogs. I like the list of where you plan to travel. Once we get the camper all organized, we want to make a monster 3 month trip to visit our sons. I hope to pick up our 21-BHS end of next week. Post here about your trips.

[p]Check your hitch weight. The 14TBS should have at least 250 lbs on it and 300 would be better. More hitch weight keeps the hitch from bouncing and making a banging noise each time the hitch raises off of the ball a tiny bit.[/p][p]
[/p][p]You can adjust the hitch weight by putting more gear in the pass through compartment or putting heavier batteries on the tongue.

[/quote]It would certainly help. Chances are that a little bit of water will end up at the bottom no matter what, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I always add water back to the bowl once we're no longer moving just for good measure. When I winterize I even put a cup or so of rv antifreeze in there instead.

Chris,
Congratulations and welcome to the LL family. Where in Ohio did you get your unit? We are from Ohio. We too traveled out of state to pick up our 16TBS from Ohio to North Carolina.  We could not find what we wanted here in Ohio, but like you, the trip was well worth it. Enjoy!!
