Is the truck supposed to charge the on board battery in our 10.0 TC? Ours is not and don't know if it's supposed to or not...any advice would be appreciated.

Many trucks do not have a continuous hot unless you go out of your way to wire for it. Our '14 4Runner had factory wiring with the power hot. Other, older rigs if you even have a factory harness it is nothing more than turn, headlights and brake lights.

It is easy to add to existing wiring.

And many vehicles have the wiring but the fuse to power the charging circuit is not there. Find the fuse box and look in the owners manual for the position of the fuse and put one in. It is usually a 30 amp.
