I owned a 6.0 and sold it. I really liked the concept, but, I really hated the bed. I always wondered why the trailer box wasn't made seven feet long, put the entrance at the rear and have the bed flip over the trailer tongue, that way it would be long enough, (the bed). That way you can get out of bed without crawling over your partner. Also, you could stretch the sofa and it would be long enough for an adult to sleep on.

If LL were to update their 6.0, I would most likely buy another one.

Thats part of the reason we only considered the 8.0, 8.1, and 10.0.
The beds are larger and the layout works for an average family. I always liked the 6.0 but it was when I only had a 4cyl Jeep Wrangler and I wanted to keep things small and simple.

I still like tent camping and the 6.0 was a good compromise, still felt like a tent, but no sleeping on the ground. My brother and I would go, we're both over 6 feet, the biggest pain was having to climb over him to get out. So, its back to the tent until something else comes along. I have the 21RBS for the wife, she likes it fine, her tent camping days are long gone.

We're both about 5' tall so we sleep the sideways on the bed.  It makes it like a short king size bed.

I am with Tuna. I have the advantage that I am camping with a 2 1/2 yr old and a chocolate lab pup. No problems climbing over my granddaughter and the dog usually ends up on the sofa. I like the door where it is, makes storage easier. I guess when they get older, I will be on the sofa.

I see your point. It's great for one person and a huge dog. It would be nice to have a bigger bed BUT any increase in size for the bed would make it nearly impossible for me to work it alone. I could even use a smaller bed.

When I go camping with my two brothers, I'll have to bring a tent as well. Wish I could borrow or afford to rent an 8.0 or 8.1 for that trip.

[/quote]Idlerockfarm, I have a cushion that is the same length of the, sofa and about 20 inches wide. It is the exact same black color and sits on a regular storage tub. It makes it possible for someone to sleep on the sofa area comfortably. It is best for kids, allowing space for two older kids. It does make the exit width extremely narrow but is only used at night.
Next time I open the QS 6, I will take some pics.

That sounds nice. I might need that setup for the siblings trip.

I suppose there are some advantages to that configuration, most notably it would take up less room in the campground. However, I like that the bed folds out sideways and that the door is on the side.
