Who did you contact? We just had a member of the forum recently purchase a new tent/canvas without issue. They were able to get a price directly from LivinLite, but ultimately ordered from a dealer since they were somehow offering a better price.

Did you catch a name? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post it publicly. If they have stopped selling it factory direct that would be a new development.

I think I'm the guy Sean was referring to. I was quoted a high price from the factory and ended up getting a much better deal from a retailer (who later told me they deal with the factory....????). They shipped the tent to my house and I installed it myself.

I left it set up in the driveway for a few days so it could get rained on to seal the seams. After the first storm there was a little water on the bunk ends. It was weather tight after the next storm.

Good luck with your new top! I wasn't initially impressed with the factory either, but everything worked out. I hope you have the same result!

What was the name of the dealer you used? If they ship anywhere might be a good place for everyone to know about! I have been thinking of getting a new tent for replacement down the road.

Hey Paul, prices have been quoted differently depending on where you get it. LL apparently will no longer sell direct to the public so you'll have to find a dealer to go through.
All that said I don't know what the current price is.

Quicksilver said they do not sell them and the nearest dealer is 200 miles away. Begining to regret ever buying this camper. I use to recommend but doubt I will be able to continue this since service is not satisfactory.
[p]Hi Bj,

In the past we were able to supply retail parts. But we can no longer do so as our system is not set-up to handle retail sales.
That is why you may have gotten that answer.  Dealers however can ship directly to you so having a local dealer is not that big of a deal.
I apologize if this was not explained to you when you called in.  Something to consider however when replacing a tent is the fact that the snaps are not preinstalled in the tent.
This is common for all manufacturers. It is not terribly difficult to do but if you are doing this yourself you will need a canvas snap tool to install the snaps.
This is the same for the Tourneau covers.[/p][p]
