Keeping cool without AC

We'll be off-gridding it this weekend. Any suggestions on how to keep the camper cool in the summer heat? 

Things already considered/mentioned:

1. Popup Gizmos
2. Fans
3. Shade (there won't be any)

Thoughts?

Fans and ice are the two best options in my opinion assuming beer and a beautiful Lake are not available
