I like the sink!

We do use the sink when we camp. I added a 30 inch hose from the top section to the hose that is hooked to the outside hookup and I never have to hook it all up at the camp site. I found it a chore trying to stop it from leaking and adding tape or whatever. Now I pull in and just hook it up. After changing out 3 of the pumps and pipe and hose because of leaks it all works great. I am going to also run a 4 foot garden hose from the out hose and run it out the bottom for the waste water.
I also found out if you turn the water on low at the camp ground hook up the whole system works great. No splashing and not a lot of pressure on the hose or sink pipe. I hope I explained all this right.
I found for me that hooking these hoses up at the camp ground just a big pain.

I like the sink also. I camp with four ladies so it is a must. I still use the factory sink and faucet without a problem. I'll probably jinx myself now and the sink will break. I like your idea of using a long hose and never having to unhook and hook them. I think I will steal that idea from you.

Here is an idea you might like and steal yourself. I use and oil pan to collect my gray water. I just simply place the oil pan under my trailer and let the gray water drip in it. I don't even have to hook up a hose to the outside. Here is a link to the oil pan that I use to collect the graywater. It makes it easy to carry it to the bathroom to get rid of grey water.

We do not use the sink as a wash basin but I like the idea of the oil collection tank as a holding tank.

Thanks for the comments,
Actually I use the 7 gal tank that came with the unit. I never will use it for ruffing it so I use it for the grey water. Fits perfect under camper.
I also use a cut off valve on that hose from the sing to the 7 gal tank because water always ran into that even though I don't use it. I just keep the valve closed.

I used the blue water jugs at first. However, there were many unlevel campsites that it did not fit under the camper after I leveled the camper. I live in ky and most campsites in this region are not level. There were a couple that were practically hillsides. Thanks to my handy ball leveler though they worked, but the blue water jug would not fit under the camper. That's why I like the oil pan, it will always fit under the camper.

By the way I used my Weekend to get the camper ready. I spent most of my time working with the plumbing doing what you did. It will be nice not having to hook up those three hoses again. Once less thing to worry about is nice.

Good for you Kentucky. I guess you hooked a water hose to it just to try it out. The first time mine leaked pretty good.

Oh yes! There were a couple leaks, however after a couple trips to Lowes they were fixed. Today I got most everything ready for a trip. The camper is ready for its first trip this year.

I ended up changing the plumbing to have typical garden hose fittings. They are easier to tighten by hand, and are easy to find parts for if needed. They also allowed me to use quick connect fittings so now my sink is hooked up by connecting a single quick connect for the input, and a single quick connect for the drain. The input has a selectable Y to adjust for city water vs tank. It has worked well so far.
