Hey, I think you are on the right path. I have the 10.0 and honestly I wouldn't trade it for the world. I have a growing family and have been taking them camping now for years. There is something magical about seeing you child truly enjoying nature. Just getting away and connecting on a level that you just don't get any other way. I've seen my daughter grow up so much while in camp and I just know that we are making memories that will impact her for the rest of our lives. By extension I hope our experiences will shape the lives of many generations to come. I want to pass this love of camping on to my kids so they can share it with theirs and so on.
This is truly is a activity that is worth making the effort for. I don't care if it's a tent, pop up, trailer, or class A. Getting away with the family and camping is worth it.

Well, I think you nailed it already. I think there is nothing more practical, simple, and functional.  

I think what your doing is awesome, and I'm a bit jealous.

My only worry for you are hot climates. The quicksilver will not keep you cool during hot summer days. The night will be fine.

We always just travel to cooler climates during the Summer. For example higher altitudes are always cooler.
