When watching a normally clear television channel in our 21RBS if we turn on the bathroom or kitchen vent fans it destroys our clear signal and makes watching TV impossible.

Has anyone else experienced this?  Any verified solutions?

The electrical noise from the DC motors in the fans is causing the interference with the signal. The best prevention is good quality signal cable with no damage to the shielding and with good tight connections all the way from the antenna to the booster to the TV. Check and tighten what you can and in particular look for damaged cable or poor terminals/connections. Most of that wiring is inaccessible on my 16TBS, but it is possible to pull the booster switch/TV connection plate off the wall and look behind there at the wiring and connections. If you can't find any problems, you may ultimately want to replace the fans with some that have better quality motors. Other members with more experience will need to weigh in on the motor thing, because beyond checking connections and wire, I'd be just guessing. You may find more info on other RV forums, so try a Google search too. This would not be just a Camplite issue.

To edit my post above, this thread below on the FM radio reception problems may be a clue to the fan noise. In this thread, it looks like there are issues with the coax connections at the booster (and maybe elsewhere). Those bad connections could be the source of the interference getting into the TV too. So, to "connect the dots" on this one, tighten/repair the coax to/from the booster and maybe the TV will be fixed too.
