Time to get out of this Cold

[p]Heading out soon after Christmas for Sunny/Warm AZ, near Florence east of Phoenix. Taking the Bearcat with me and plan on staying for at least 2 months.[/p][p]Only doing 2 months to check out "Snowbirding", if I like it, then next Winter I'll stay down in AZ longer and leave for AZ sooner as well.[/p][p]
[/p][p]Lately adding a few upgrades or mods to make the Bearcat a little bit more comfy but I don't expect to be in it that much other than to crash.[/p][p]

You are SOOOO right to get out of cold weather. We are in St Marys GA for the next 2 weeks, and then we will be roaming around Florida till March. I think you will love snowbirding. BTW, this is our first year snowbirding.

I have spent some time visiting one of my sons when he lived in Phoenix. Had a great time. Played volleyball while being misted with water to stay cool. It worked! Great restaurants. Happy Camping!

For 2 Winters I worked as a Seasonal US National Park Service Employee at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in Southern AZ in 1983 and 1984 and haven't been back since. Sure was nice to be there during the Winter Months, my work months were from October thru March, then after that I went to The Tetons National Park one summer then to Bandelier National Monument in NM the next Summer, all as a seasonal employee.
Not staying at the Organ Pipe Cactus Campground this trip but I will do a few visit's for a day trip (appox 140 miles 1-way from my Location in AZ). I may plan on a Camp Trip to Organ Pipe the following Winter before I head back to Florence, just will have to see how this trip goes.
My atv goes with me, I'm told there is riding everyday out of Florence if you want to go out, the Mobile Home/RV Park (Florence Gardens) I'm staying at backs right onto BLM Land.
I have been told I won't be bored here, plenty going on for anyone's needs, clubhouses and pools too.
Really looking forward to it.
