New 2015 Camplite 28 BHS

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum. I just bought a new 28 BHS and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on any mods I should consider right away.

Also, I didn't notice it on delivery but I discovered a plug in one of my tires (because the plug popped out giving me a flat). Is it reasonable for me to expect the dealer/factory to reimburse me for the $140 I spent on a new tire? Again the trailer is 2015, but it was brand new.

I'm looking forward to being apart of the LL community.

On the tire, YES. The dealer owes you.

Did you special order the beefed up rear bumper or did it come that way from the factory?

I didn't special order, but it came with lots of upgrades. What does the beefed up bumper consist of?

Welcome! There are couple of others on the forum with the 28BHS, so run a quick search using that term and see what they've done to theirs for mods. I envy the room you have in the 28; not far off of double the floor space in my 16!

On the tire question, others with tire issues on new trailers have had mixed luck with LL, who usually just directs the buyer to the tire manufacturer for a warranty claim. Your dealer may step up and replace the tire, but they may also just send you to the tire maker for warranty replacement. It's all because the tires have a separate warranty.
