[p]My Brand New 2015 BC16FK has a serious Water Leak and it appears it is under the Hot Water Tank.[/p][p]I bought this BC16FK in MN two weeks ago, so taking it back 1500 miles is not a option, lol. Looks like I should of had them de-winterize the Bearcat before I left with it but I never even thought I would have a issue with a Brand New Trailer.[/p][p]This I know:[/p][p]Water flows out of the Trailer onto the ground when ever you have the water pump on, the system will not pressurize.[/p][p]I can fill the Hot water Tank and it holds water, no leaks.[/p][p]All of the Faucets get water and the toilet too except for one and that one is the Hot Faucet on the outside Shower (I know this because I took apart the outside shower connection, no water flow at the Hot side)[/p][p]By looking into the By-pass access in the inside lower left storage cabinet I can see and feel the "T" Connector on the Hot water Line coming out of the Hot Water tank that goes to the outside shower, there is no leak there, how can this be?[/p][p]Water can be seen in the Left front Corner just barely as it is a tight squeeze for a adult even if you take the outer door off of the cabinet.[/p][p]When the water pump is "On" you can hear the water just if it was coming out of a open faucet.[/p][p]
[/p][p]I know of No Livin-Lite Dealer in NM. Is there a way to access the section under the Hot Water tank w/o taking the Hot Water Tank out?[/p][p]Can the entire front [strong]Black[/strong] Color Diamond Plate be removed to access the front sections of the BC16FK and give access the all of the water lines?[/p][p]
[/p][p]As of now, I do not know if the BC16FK was improperly Winterized or if some water line was never hooked up from the factory build.[/p][p]By chance, where can a diagram be found to show all of the Water Hoses/hookups/Connections/routing of the hoses?[/p][p]
[/p][p]

SWBC150, the better question for LL may be, " please give me the name of the nearest dealer that can fix this problem for me!"

I believe Camping World can do warranty work on Camplites now that they are part of Thor.  Of course, verify that.

I can't quite tell if you said you found this but there should be a T connection on the main hot water line leading to the hot water valve of the outside shower.  Did you find that?  It sure sounds like that's where it's disconnected.

Thanks for the Water line display, I'll go back out in the Camper and see what I can find but I don't believe the leak is at the point of your arrow, seems to be on the floor of the trailer and lower than the hot water tank.

I'll give Camping World a call on Thursday, we have a Camping World here in Albuquerque.
There is a Different Livin-lite Camplite/VRV dealer in Albuq, they refused to work on my Bearcat..

If possible, I really rather do it myself.

Found the Problem.[/p][p]
[/p][p]The inside (behind the fresh water connectors) on the City Water Connector was overtighten which put cracks in the plastic screw on connector.[/p][p]
[/p][p]Someone (Dealer?) tried fixing these cracks with some sort of sealant, did not work.[/p][p]
[/p][p]I replaced the cracked plastic connector with a new one, no more water leaks.  Water System stays pressurized.[/p][p]

[/p]
Glad you found it and was an easy fix.  Someone tried to fix  that rather then replace it with a $1.00 part?  What a maroon they were.

I'm glad the problem seems to be fixed but I don't really understand how fixing that filler-related part would have anything to do with whether the system would pressurize or not. I'm confused.  :-S

The city water input and the pump output are Tee'd together to supply the rest of the trailer with cold water. The city water input fitting in the box contains the check valve that prevents water from flowing back out of the fitting when the pump in in use. The broken fitting on the back of the city inlet water would leak with either city water or pump pressure. Failure of this check valve will also allow the pump to empty the FW tank onto the ground if no external hose is connected.

Thanks charliem. Your explanation has helped me better understand my Camplite's plumbing system and swbc150's problem & solution.

btw, LL did get back to me.
If it had turned out to be a serious water leak, LL had me Covered.
