[p]After reading the Forum for some time I finally signed up. I also follow the Yahoo LL board but prefer the layout on this site better. For the last few years my 2011 QS8.1 has been used throughout [/p][p]the Pacific Northwest - Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana - and we've, wife and I, been quite happy with it. We're usually the smallest RV in the campground but our cozy QS works great for us.[/p][p]Sure beats sleeping in a tent. I've added a 2.4 cu. ft refrigerator (transports in truck) , microwave, overhead light tube, removable shelf above counter, awning, front cargo box. Run in an additional separate power cord with outlet strip to handle the additional electrics. Removed one of the benches and purchased a smaller more stable foldup table for more interior room.  Our first trip[/p][p]out was a fiasco trying to get the thing folded up properly but now have it down to a science. Never installed the battery and don't use the sink (utensil storage). Inverter quit after two years but [/p][p]never used the DC anyway. Top has never leaked, used fraystop on the window frays. Have hauled it out on the beach and up to a high mountain campsite which required 4WD to get it there. [/p][p]We looked at a lot of popups and glad we purchased the QS8.1. Looking forward to many more years of enjoyable camping.  Fred - Portland, OR[/p]
