While visiting the campground just outside of Payson, Arizona I came across my first Quicksilver popup camper. The first I have actually seen (other than ours). Talked with the campers and exchanged information about this web site. I have previous seen a Livinlite Pickup camper, other sightings the past couple of years have been on the road near Tucson, the Black Canyon (I-17) highway and on the Beeline (AZ-87).
I was in the Garner NC area last night visiting the new Cabelas and noticed a Camplite truck camper pulling out. It was grey on what looked like a tan truck. Unfortunately I didnt get a good look at it. The styling looked like it might have been a Ram truck.
Observed a Camplite travel trailer drive thru Payson and it was repainted in woodland camo. Looked like one of the 16 models.
On a side note... Cabelas is a great "FREE" camp site. They dont require permission. Usually a free dump site. Also water is available at a common spigot. Only recommendation is stay clear of 18 wheeler rigs unless the drone of a diesel puts you to sleep.
Through five full, very long seasons (we were out 99 consecutive days last year) we have been disappointed to see very few Quicksilvers and often wonder, Where the heck are they? I'm pretty sure that in five years we have seen five Quicksilvers total, though it's always Old Home Week when we find one, and everyone that owns one loves it. Last year we saw our first Camplite ever. I think it was a 16, and they bought it from a first owner. They loved it (yay)! We are always on the lookout for Livin' Lite products but are surprised that we don't see very many. Also, we are surprised that we don't get more inquiries on our camper. We actually carry some Quicksilver brochures, but people are not lining up to find out "What is that?" The first question that many ask is, "Where's the roof?" We are always happy to explain the whole thing, but usually all we get is a polite "That's very nice" and away they wander. The crowd that shows the most interest is the on-the-ground crowd looking to get off the ground, like we were in 2010. Livin' Lite must be making money, but where the heck are the campers? 8-|
So far I've learned that even RV accessory stores and repair centers are totally oblivious to the brand. Campers in the parks I've spoken with, when they ask about the "funky windows" get the one-liner. "No wood". A couple have proceeded to agree that particle board stinks and they wish they didn't have it either.
I use this opportunity to let them tell me all about theirs and how it's better than our dinky little thing....lol. The dog growls a bit though.
While camping in Northern California in our 2013 16 DBS (which we purchased with no graphics) we had several people in the camp grounds come over to our camper to inquire about it. At least 50% of them asked me if I built it myself. Only wish I was that good. Have a 21BHS on order (again with no graphics) and can't wait to hit the same campground. I'll tell them I just put on an addition ;).
I usually get.. "Well if you wanted aluminum .... why didnt you buy an Airstream?"

The reason I purchased a CampLite, it has aluminum floor. Airstreams built in the US have wood floors.
Black and Silver Quicksilver VRV sighted on US 101 in Seaside, OR today.
Saw a 14 yesterday on I-76 somewhere east of Denver.
In three years of camping, first time I've seen a Camplite 'in the wild'.
We are presently camping 200 yards from a grey 21'er. She's is pulling with an older Ford F350 crew cab from SC. We are in Cape Ann, Gloucester,MA. She gave us the Peace sign on the way in. Must meet and greet. It's the only other Camp lite we have ever seen...

[p]Anyways, here is our only ever encounter with a creature of the Camplite variety that was not ours. Hope I'm not getting anyone in trouble!...heh

4 days in Yellowsone and 358 campsites and all I have seen is 1 Camplite truck camper. He spent 1 night and left before I could say Hi. Ride my bike every night and check every campsite but no Livinlite campers :(.
Heading east bound on AZ 260 in Payson, AZ. A red 6.1 model.
Saw a silver VRV in a parking lot downtown Denver.

Headed from NC to NY with several stops along the length of the east coast. So far no other LLs and definitely the only QS so far :)
Met someone from Oregon City who has a 13 something or other while at Ft. Stevens SP in Oregon.
headed out to the lake last weekend, I saw three LivinLites - VRX, etc: strange, and all were in the same home division that I drove though.
We're taking a 3 week vacation in a few weeks - hitting like 8 states, southwest national park tour - you might see our livinlite camper here or there
As I was leaving Chattanooga on a camping trip last Friday pulling my QS 6.0, I was stopped at a traffic light right behind a car pulling a QS 8.0.
Spied a QS ~8.0 popup in Holden, MA on my way to cost a job today. Parked in a driveway not getting any love.
Another red 6.0 heading North on AZ 87 in Payson, Arizona. Also observed a Coleman Avalon popup, very big popup.
21 ft noon today outside of Smithville, TX on HWY 71, pulled by a Mercedes. We've had ours for just over a year and that's the first other Camplite we've seen outside of a dealership. :)
well my first offic quicksilver camper sighting of 6/8/10/xlp we got in late at the KOA near white sands and was assigned a site at 10pm and out it all sites I'm right next to a red quicksilver 8.0
Spotted a grey livinlite near Fort Stevens Oregon. Pulled by Toyota Tundra. Probably a 17 footer. First livinlite product I've seen on cross country trip.
Took my 21BHS in to our local RV dealer yesterday (paint touch up quote) and he has a 20' VRV on the lot. It's a new 2013 and I swear it's the same one he had when we took our 2013 16DB in for service in late 2013. Even better he wants $34,195 for it on SALE ???. Camplites sell for a premium locally and that's why we drove 1900 miles to SIRV to buy our new TT.
OMG! It's starting to sound like an invasion! 8-)
2nd stop over in Las Vegas. again a KOA. saw a quicksilver 6 set up. in red again..
total of 2 quicksilver campers and I've seen several VRX etc also on the road trip we took
Did a 6 week cross country in my 14DBS and don't remember seeing any either. I know I Impressed a few big rigs though when I was pulling up the mountains and passed them as they appeared to be going about 10 miles an hour, ha. Did have quite a few campers check out my trailer and most seemed very aware of Livin Lite and the all Aluminum construction.
With no graphics on our camper (including having removed the www.livinlite.com stickers on the back) I have had someone at every campsite or store parking lot we've hit so far come over and ask me what kind of camper we have. Went to the local CAT scales on Friday and a truck driver even asked me who built my camper. One couple at our local campground in California wanted to know if I built it myself. Gotta love it.
We've never been asked about ours. I have noticed that our trailer is often one of the more humble-looking rigs in the campground and the only thing that might get attention is that our TV is smaller than most. And when we mention the name to dealers, we get a blank look.
We're a long, long way from [strike]Tipperary[/strike] ....Indiana.
...
In my seasonal campground in New Brunswick there is a blue quicksilver 6.0 with a Québec plate
Cunningham Campers, Jeffersonville, IN: As we drove by, I spied a silver Camplite just inside the service door. Unable to determine the size as all I could see was the back.
We have a Livinlite dealer not far from us and oddly enough......................nothing.
This isn't a LL sighting, but a Trail Manor sighting, since funpilot visits the board often. On I-65, just south of Indianapolis last week, I was passed by what I thought was a very long pop-up. Then I saw it was a Trail Manor. This is the first time I have seen one of these in person.
I have a new neighbor in the storage lot. Right next to me is a Trail Manor. Unfortunately I can't tell anything about it by looking in the windows.
Leslie, after seeing 2 at Yellowstone I was curious and went to their web site to check them out. Very interesting concept for a pop-up (or fold-up) camper.
There is some camplite probably a 14 currently in my seasonal campground, I have seen à quicksilver last week! Will try to talk to them.
Camplite (not sure which model) going Northbound on AZ 87 just South of Payson, Arizona on 7/31.
We saw our first Camplite TT in the wild yesterday driving west on I-90 in the western Cleveland suburbs.
Today! Whalen Island on the Oregon coast. We went by on our motorcycle about 5 pm and stopped in to check out the island and campground. And there was a Camplite! (That makes 2 sightings for us, so far.)
Was it you?
Finally!
Was followed part of the way home by a red Toyota Yaris pulling a red QS 6.0 with Quebec plates. Must have been staying a neighboring CG.
I caught a glance of a VRV going in the other direction in the Limerick PA area the other week....
Spent two weeks on the road and saw a QS 10.0 headed North on I81 between Chambersburg and Shippensburg PA. That was the only one we saw the whole time. We did get some comments and questions about ours from some people while in the campgrounds, mostly asking why we didn't get one with a roof. That was asked by a guy who had a 2X4 holding one corner of his roof up.
Oberseved two Camplite pickup campers in Payson, Arizona. One heading Northbound on AZ-87 and the other in a parking lot in Payson.
We are checked in at Disney's Fort Wilderness. We are on the bus to Downtown Disney and just had a silver Camplite pass us. Anybody from this board?
Saw a champagne Camplite 16(?) with a dark pickup truck towing it heading west on U.S. 2 west of the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan this afternoon (9/21/15). We waved, but since we were towing our utility trailer and not our Camplite, they probably wondered why.
Anyone want to 'fess up to being the other champagne colored CL on OR 6 today ? We were the ones heading east, you were heading west.
Coulda been a 14, or maybe a 16.
Saw a grey Camplite 13 headed north on I-69 in southern Michigan this morning (9/27/15).
I saw this CL truck camper today in Baltimore...first CL sighting I've had so far.

Walking the dogs this morning, my husband saw a red Camplite toy hauler here at the Music Valley KOA in Nashville TN. He told me about the sighting while we ate breakfast. I just put the dirty dishes in the sink so we could talk to the Camplite owners before starting our day, but they had left the campground.

Now I keep a pad of sticky- notes in the camper.
Saw a 21 ft Camplightat Topsail Hill in Florida and met a very nice couple from Alabama...Terry and Scott.
Zero sightings so far. We will be heading down to Fort Stevens, OR in November so I'll be looking around for other LL units. It's kind of fun being unique! 8-)
Saw a silver Camplite 11 or 13 - I think t was a 13 - last week at the Big Meadows campground in Shenandoah NP. It's the first LL I've seen in a campground and not just under tow. I've still never seen another QS. I guess I need to camp more.
Yesterday, while towing my Camplite heading NNE on I-265 south of Louisville, I could see a Google car with the camera on top in my rearview camera coming up behind me in the passing lane. Then it tucked in behind me and followed me for several miles. When I got into heavy traffic, I lost sight of the Google car. Too busy concentrating on what was happening in front of me.
So, if anybody sees a view of this area on what - street view, whatever - and you get a sighting of a red Camplite, you have sighted me!
Slight side note here, but it made me take a double take when I noticed this thread has over 3000+ views
Another sighting a couple of days ago! Either a 21BHS or RBS, heading west on 99W near Tigard, OR. That makes two for us in Oregon.
If you want to see some Camplites, Brenda, get yourself signed up for the rally !
Spotted what looked a 35-ft Silver Axxess headed South out of Lumberton, Texas on Saturday! We rarely see these- brought a smile to a fellow Ax owner!
At 9:30 AM today, at McDonald's in Lake Wales, FL, a white truck towing a dark gray QS 6.0 stopped next to our CL 21-BHS for breakfast. A nice retired couple bought it new 1 year ago, and have camped 5X with it. He admired our camper when he pulled in next to us, but didn't realize it was LL product till we told him. They aren't on the board, and aren't interested enough to get web address. Oh, well. Nice couple. Hope they continue to enjoy their 6.0.
While searching for a dispersed camping site outside of Moab UT last week I had this couple spin their truck around and flag us down. He was busting to tell us that they had the exact same trailer as us set up over the hill. It wasn't until we got out of the trucks that we realized we were driving the same exact trucks too, only his was red.
Fortunately there were no sites available there. It was as busy as a city. Just up the road was Klondike Bluffs that afforded us some elevation and spectacular 270 degree views though. No immediate neighbors.
on Monday I saw a Camplite truck camper and they were towing a small utility trailer behind in Moncton, NB. First time I see one in person!
Saw a 16 DB (S?) on I-65 south in Kentucky on Thursday 6/9. I was going 80 MPH Northbound so didn't get a great look.
There was a LL truck camper at the Meijer gas station in Bath, Michigan on June 10, 2016. Nice looking rig.

Bob - Didn't think you liked towing your rig that fast!! :)
On a business trip so no camper just a crappy rental car ;)
This past weekend I camped across from a Quicksilver. Many people passed by and admired the trailers. When the couple helped me get my stubborn, 98lb, Chessie into the back of my wagon (he "decided" the trip should be extended), they told me they were on their second trip, too. We were in Wisconsin near the Mississippi River in a state park.
Idlerock- Next month we are going to be camping in Wisconsin as well........ in a SP campground along the Mississippi! We are going to be at Wyalusing SP after camping on Goose Island (just south of LaCrosse). Which campground were you at?
I stopped for the night at the Falling Waters State Park in the Florida pan-handle April 28th to visit some friends that were staying there. I spotted a 14DB, walked by it a couple times with my dog but never saw anybody. Beautiful park by the way. I didn't have to be to my next stop for awhile so got a nice hike in with the dog down to the water fall.
There was a sliver 14DBS towed by an F-150 going north on I-75 north of Graying in Michigan on June 23, 2016.
Gbpack, I camped in Nelson Dewey twice this month. I like that it is a smaller park. Wyalusing is beautiful.
My second Camplite sighting:Westbound Colorado Hwy 82 between Aspen and Carbondale at 10:47 AM MDT. Dark gray, single axle I think.

I have a feeling that this thread is gonna be BLOWED UP Y'ALL !!!!! in about 24 hours....
Yep, they have invaded the very NW tip of OR big time.
We have spotted some red Camplites here, an 11-footer and a 14-footer. They aren't here on the board, they were amazed at all the Camplites, and they will be joining the festivities. More reports to follow...
At Tillamook River Rest Area on Hwy 101 south of Tillamook at about 1 PM, there was a silver 10.0 QuickSilver pop-up. I told them that I had been to a LL rally at Ft.Stevens. They said they had already talked to someone else who had been to that rally. They were a mom, dad, and 2 children.
Until we attended the rally at Fort Stevens, we had only seen one other LL while traveling, and it was a Quicksilver at Fort Pickens CG located at Gulf Islands National Seashore just west of Pensacola Beach, FL. No one was present and the camper was gone when we checked the next morning. Well, after leaving the rally, we meandered down the Oregon coast, pulling into Driftwood RV in Brookings, OR, just a few miles north of the California border, last Friday. As we were being guided to our site, lo and behold, a silver 13 foot Camplite was parked in a site nearby . Owner wasn't around the first evening, but we met him our second evening. A really nice fellow named Steve and his dog have been living in his camper for longer than a year while he has been building a house nearby. We shared camping stories, swapped tips about modifications and improvements, and we told him about this forum and the rally. We encouraged him to check out the forum, so maybe we'll hear from him in the future. Also, the next day on Saturday, as we were driving north to Gold Beach to take a jet boat ride on the Rogue River, we passed a Camplite headed south on Hwy. 101. Looked like a 16 foot camper the same color as ours (gold/light brown). Merlin, by any chance, was that you and Jan? We weren't towing at the time, so you would not have noticed us. Excitement - - - two sightings in two days!
August 8: Spotted a 16TBS at Cherry Creek Reservoir State Park in Aurora, CO. It had dual axles and an aluminum roof - Yea! From KS towing with a white F-150. The second CL spotted this trip in 5000 miles. Gave the owner our URL and asked her to join us.

This past weekend traveling down I -40 around the Asheville NC area we passed a red and white Camplite heading westbound (14 or 16 footer with the deck out back). I gave my wife a heart attack because I shouted "There is another one!!!!" I guess she does not pay attention to the other side of the freeway when traveling like I do. I always have my radar on but never really had any luck with Camplite sightings. Well it must have been our lucky day because we spotted our second unit (21RBS) while pulling in at the Travelers Rest KOA in South Carolina. All weekend I wanted to meet and talk to the owners but never had the opportunity because they never were outside when I was around. I guess I should have purchased a lotto ticket that night because two sightings in one day must be some kind of omen!!!!!
Yesterday around 6 pm near Theodore Roosevelt National Park on eastbound I-94 I saw a bronze 16 or 21 camplite towed by a red pickup. I was headed westbound to one of my regular fishing spots and didn't have our camper.
Sighted Black QS pop up on I-81 NB on 8-12-16 @ 1pm at mile 75 just South iOF Syracuse, NY. We were headed south with our 16 TBS.
Hi, Whipfinisher! SCBillandJane here. We're the ones you spotted yesterday evening near Theodore Roosevelt NP. We have a bronze colored CL 21 BHS, and we're on our second night in Medora, ND, exploring the park. Tomorrow on the road again, heading east toward Minnesota. We're always on the lookout for LL campers. A couple nights ago camped right next to a Quicksilver at Bear Creek Campground near Bozeman, MT. Nice young couple with three young children. Encouraged them to check out the forum.

Saw a Camplite truck camper on a dealer lot in Carson City, Nevada yesterday. Gonna have to check in and see if they are a dealer and do warranty work.
There is a quicksilver in Shediac New Brunswick from Ontario, was not able to talk to them will try tomorrow
On I-90E, east of Billings, Montana, milemarker 482, 11:50 AM local time, a red QuickSilver, probably 10, passed me. I was the passenger, enjoying the passing scenery, so I wasn't able to pay attention to which state it was from, or the tow vehicle.
We went to the Little Bighorn Battlefield (Custer's Last Stand) this afternoon. As we were stopped at an overlook, here came the red QuickSilver 10.0 we saw earlier today! Nice retired couple from Canada. I thought they said Mattoon(?) I told them about this board, but they weren't interested. Oh, well.
Went on a walk through the Goose Island campground in LaCrosse, Wisconsin with the DH tonight. We were looking at and talking about the various brands of campers. We saw a Lance truck camper that was very nice looking. As we walked past I mentioned that we never see any Camplite campers.
Gregg said, "well what about that one?" The owners weren't there. It was a nice looking 2012 16', not sure of the floor plan. We looped back to the Camplite and the owners were there! We plan to give Joan and Tim from Appleton Wisconsin this forum's information.

As if we'd have 'em !
My neighbor today has a Camplite. He said they sold their Quicksilver and this is their first trip with the new 11FK (my assumption).
Also, quite a good lookin tow vehicle. ( grin).
At Disney's Fort Wilderness. There is a small silver Camplite in the same loop as us with a blue Focus for a tow vehicle.
At my storage facility, 3 slots down from where I store the Camplite, is a black QuickSilver pop-up, possibly 8.0.
At Fundy National Park in New Brunswick I saw a silver Camplite I think it was a 16 towed by a red Jeep Grand Cherokee possibly from Quebec as there was no front plate.
I have seen I believe one older quicksilver vrv in the past 2011 maybe. I was out camping this past weekend and someone came up to us and started a conversation and asked about our trailer. They said they noticed right when we pulled into the park and that they had never seen anything like it. We ended up touring each others. They had a Sonic trailer with a walk around queen bed up front. Really quaint little trailer supposedly built by the ammish? They liked that our trailer was all aluminum and unique. I could tell after viewing their trailer and his wife not liking camping even in it that ours was probably way too industrial feeling for their taste and sometimes I feel the same way. We have ours pretty well decorated to make if feel cozier but you can only do so much. She didn't like camping in their's so I could imagine ours was probably even scarier with the queen tent bed. Really nice couple though and it was nice talking with them. We get looks almost every place we take ours even our RV repair place hasn't seen one until we took it in.
The Popup Princess had a Quicksilver on her Instagram feed today. Nice.
Saw a red QS 5.0 trying to make its way on the West bound Queen's Way during Ottawa's rush hour traffic on Friday.
Saw a Camplite truck camper flash by going the opposite way on US 26 in Portland yesterday.
Just back from a 5K trip to Glacier MT.
Met Mike from Michigan in a 16DB and saw another couple from Canada in a Livin Lite truck camper.
What a great country we have to explore!
On I-71, north of Louisville, at 3:30 PM today, I spied a bronze Camplite headed south, probably a 21 foot model.

Leslie - Are you headed to Ohio?
Saw a Silver VRV in PA going SB on I-84 on 9-22 and then a Camplite Bronze 21'er in W.VA departing George Washington NF on 9-25. Gotta love all the free or dirt cheap camping in PA, VA and W.VA!
We went to Florence, KY for shopping.
Saw a Silver/Black camplite heading east on US 26 from Seaside towards Portland around 11am. Only saw it flash by, but I think it might have been a 14.
Saw a silver/black Camplite heading North on 99W in Sherwood around 1PM. Looked like a 21 or so being towed by a black Jeep Cherokee.
