After having owned a couple of stick and tin trailers, a 71 nomad, and a 78 Shasta Daisy, I am sold on how the Livin LItes are built. I have camped as a kid growing up and then took my 4 kids when they were little. Camped with the Boy Scouts and Still do a few times a year. Currently I have a 73 Argosy 22 footer that I camp in. I hope to retire in 3 or so years and should have more time to spend on the road, seeing the country. My Next Camper will be a LL. I have no doubts. Would like to find one that is a couple years old that no longer meets the needs of the current owners. Will be watching the classifieds for just that. I enjoy Camping, Fishing, and Vintage Car and steam shows. Thanks for having me. Safe and happy campin to all. Bill.
Welcome from North GA.
Welcome from North Carolina! LL has a growing selection of campers available, so I'm sure you will eventually find one to fill your needs!
Welcome from Central Florida!
Best of luck in your search.
Hi, Bill- welcome from Chattanooga.
Welcome from NC. In our search it was hard enough to find a new one like we wanted and the used ones certainly don't last very long, so strike quick!
Where in Illinois are you? Several of us on this board have purchased our campers from Sunny Island RV in Rockford, and have been happy with how we were treated. They usually have a couple of used Camplites on their lot. You might check with them.
I bought my QS 6.0 from Prosser Rv in Milwaukee and can highly recommend them. Check out their website.
Come out to Oregon and see the [a href="http://www.antiquepowerland.com/html/steam-up.html"]Steam Up[/a].
Grew up in the Quad Cities area and my parents in 1965 bought an Apache popup camper. Every two weeks during the summer went to Apple River Canyon, White Pines and a couple of other places camping.
Thanks for the welcome, I have been to Sunny Island a couple of times window shopping and seen them at the Rosemont RV show in the winter. I have been checking their inventory on line. Probably where I will end up. I have three years I hope to work yet. Not as much time while working to camp, have to make time now. Try to go every other month at least. Kinda disappointed to hear the dealers bash the product with factory defects. I know this is common in the industry and had hopes that livin lite was more uncommon than all the rest. Glad I found this forum. Want to haul a small 14 foot Jon Boat in the back so a toy box Vrv should work. Need to take some measurements this year. Would love to be able the roll boat trailer with boat on it right in. Also do some vending now and then so the cargo room and ramp door is a plus. Thanks for having me. Happy Campin. Bill

[p]You're gonna love the LL Toy Hauler line. There's so many ways to use the unique design; back end is just a cargo door while rolling down the road, but patio deck by day or night. Close it up, hang a white sheet....voila, a big screen for movie nights! Best part is sleeping next to the wide open sky, breathing in the fresh air while being lulled to sleep by the night sounds...yes sirree, good buddy! (BTW, the pull-down screen keeps the bugs out.)[/p][p]
[/p][p]Yeah, you gotta love a 'hauler'. Oh, wow, I almost forgot (since we don't haul 'toys', per se), but in addition to the above noted benefits, you can take your toys with you. [/p][p]
[/p][p]P.S. If okay, bill618, I'll copy this over to the 'Everything Toy Hauler' thread. Happy Haulin'! ;)[/p]

Peg...[/quote]Welcome, Peg! You know what they say, "gotta crawl before you can run". Now you're running with the 'big' dogs! Welcome!
