Title: QS 8.1 - Tucson
Post by: rubicamp on March 17, 2015, 02:37:58 AM
New to this forum and there seems to be a lot of great info. Bought a 2012 QS 8.1 which I'm about to take out for the first time in a couple weeks. Modified it to fit my Jeep better. 6" lift and 15" wheels with BFG A/T.

[p]Welcome and greetings from Payson, Arizona. We have had our 8.0 six years and looking forward to the camping season, though in Arizona you can camp all year.[/p]

[p]Great looking setup, where were you camping, thought it might have been Dead Horse State Park.[/p]

Nice rig and set up.  What kit did you use to lift the QS or did it come with the lift already, Im thinking about lifting mine?

Yes I was at Patagonia. I actually had a welding shop make up some brackets and cut up some metal tubing. Very similar to some of the posts shown on here, but had someone else do the heavy liftin since I needed it done quick.
