We are moving up from an aframe. We have been looking at the Livinlites and were so excited to see that they now have one with twin beds! We are pulling with an FJ Cruiser and have to limit our size, so were unable to go to a bigger unit with a walkaround bed.
[font size="3"][font face="arial"]You'll love it. For a couple the 16TBS solves several problems found in smaller trailers: No climbing over the other sleeper, slide gives just enough more room, dry bath, larger fridge, still light enough for small SUVs. Enjoy it and keep us informed.

Well we finally have our TBS. Drove from Ohio to NC to pick it up. Left on Friday and picked it up on Saturday morning to return home. Drove through rain, fog, and as we got closer to home; hit a snowstorm. It was not a fun drive home. Spent all day Sunday playing around with where we are going to put things. We were sitting on the sofa bed discussing and admiring our trailer and how lucky we were when the couch kind of collapsed backward. It seemed like it should have been resting on a bar, but had dropped below the bar. Has anyone with the couch in a TBS had this happen? We are just sick! Other than this mishap, we love the trailer.
Took our 16TBS to a local dealer that LivinLite recommended. We had been there before as they have a 16DBS that we were considering before we found the TBS. They are going to replace our sofa couch among a few other small things. We are very happy with our TBS and the LivinLite Company. As the dealer where we took our unit had not seen an actual TBS, they were quite impressed and even gave us a few tips. Super excited to get out and enjoy the camper.
Livinthe goodlife: We picked up our 16TBS in January, I am convinced that our unit was the first time Livinlite installed the couch/bed, and our TBS was likely the first production unit. After getting the unit home to northern NM from the dealer in Colorado Springs, I discovered that I could not open the bed. No way no matter how hard I pulled, and it clearly was just a hida bed, and not rocket science. After talking to the dealer, Livilite, and the couch mfg, all would said it was a simple process, I began to disassemble the couch to determine what was going. The culprit was a large mounting screw into the side wall of the slide. It had backed out during transport, and caused the hang up of the fold out mechanism.
Livinlite later advised that the support bar that supports the flip out portion of the bed should have been mounted to the floor, and not the side of the slideout. For our purpose, the bed is not a requirement. I converted the bed into a fixed bunk, giving more depth, and added storage below since the mattress was removed.
The twin bed option is great for us as we are "old campers", and tired of one camper climbing over the other.
I suggest that you check to determine if your bed had mounting screws into the floor, as they should be according to LL. The factory offered adequate compensation for my problem, so I am satisfied, but unless one needs the bed, I would avoid the system .
We like the 16TBS model and nmcamper I would be interested in your modifications.
aznighthiker: My modification to the couch included removal of the mattress, and the steel bracket that it extended on. Converting it to a fixed "bunk" required that I drill thru the bar at the rear (against the slide wall) and drill thru the stabilizing bar at the rear, & bolting them together. This prevented the couch seat cushion from sliding forward. Also, I removed the fabric covered foot board, and placed it behind the couch cushion against the wall, as I removed the large back cushions. My wife made some smaller cushions to lean back upon. We ended up with a lower cushion that is several inches deeper, and some additional storage below the bunk for shoes etc
My wife also made covers for the the bunk and the twin beds. Replaced the funky shower curtain with a nice curtain, purchased two hanging pouches with pockets for shower and bathroom items(hangs on the shower rod) added clips on the door over fridge and the door over the sink so they don't need to be held open. Lined all cabinets with 1"foam.
As mentioned, due to weather when we received delivery, and some current medical issues, NO TRAVEL YET. Bummer. Hope to be ready for a shakedown in June.

We put a new flooring in ours. We looked at the tiles at Lowes, but ended up ordering from Elite Flooring. They were very easy to put in. They are like the yoga tiles that some people use, but have a waffle bottom and a ceramic tile look. We did the cuts where needed on a jig saw. They just snapped together like a puzzle! We also put in a memory foam gel mattress on each bed. Those were special ordered online to fit the twin beds (bunk style rv mattress size)

We went with the Sandstone. I will upload pictures when I take them this weekend. Lowe's carries them also, but have to be special ordered. We saved by cutting out the middle man and ordering ourselves. It took some time doing the search, but am quite happy with our buy. So easy to clean too!
Thanks!
Looks like a contender!
