Title: Miserable weather = cabin fever
Post by: leslie on November 19, 2014, 05:28:19 PM
Here in the Chicago suburbs, who needs this stuff? Wind chills below 0, snow making roads slick, commuter trains stopped on frozen tracks, dogs miserable, husband depressed...  Cabin fever has set in and it is before Thanksgiving!

What sort of weather are you having? Anybody enjoying the weather?

It's been chilly, teens last night, but will be in the 50s for the next few days. Tempted to head to SC
for a couple days camping, but have a few chores I "should" take care of. Will see....

All I can say is that I'm glad we dont have the 6 or 8 feet of snow they are getting in the north. I've been hearing this winter is predicted to be a nasty one and if this weather is any indication its not looking good.

On the plus side we have a little gas fireplace that I just refilled the tank for, so we have been getting plenty of use out of it here in NC :)

I'm one of those lucky people who have interests and toys for all seasons. Bring on the snow (skiing) and ice (climbing) 'cause it's all fun!

I've done plenty of rock climbing but never had a chance to try my hand at ice. I'm still holding out hope to try it some day.
If we are lucky enough to get a mild snow I plan to have loads of fun on the ATV but I have no way of dealing with 1 foot, let alone multiple feet of snow. Guess it would be a good excuse for family game night :)
