Title: pulling 6.0 with trike
Post by: idaho on November 11, 2014, 04:36:20 PM
Has anyone else pulled the 6.0 with Honda Goldwing trike?  We have GL1800 and pulled a 6.0 in 2010 to west coast, 27,000 miles trip at 4 months.  We thought we were done,  so sold it.  We decided we want to go east coast so bought another one and it feels so good to have one again.  I haven't seen many quicksilvers on the road, and haven't seen a trike pulling it at all.

I've have always read this site and the yahoo groups site just like this one and I don't recall a quicksilver being pulled by a trike. Seems like a great idea. I would love to do that one day.

I once camped by a guy in Michiagan with a motercycle and small pull behind tent camper. It seemed overly complicated. He seemed very interested in checking out a quicksilver for his bike after looking at my 10.0.

If I'm not mistaken LL also produces a QuickSilver specifically for towing behind a motorcycle. I dont know much about them and have never seen one in person though.

I'd love to hear from anyone doing this.  We sold a Rockwood 1640LTD car camper and a Bushtec Bunkhouse motorcycle camper when we bought the 6.0.  I'd like to use it on short trips with the motorcycle.  Never more than 300 to 400 miles in a day.
