Title: Water hook up
Post by: dp on September 21, 2014, 12:35:09 PM
Does anyone else find this a major pain to get to. I only use city water into the camper but I find it kinda hard to get two wrenches in there to hook up and unhook. I read what Sean did to his. Great idea too but I will never use the 7 gal tank. Too old to rough it now. I would love to find a way to hook this up where I could just leave it or find an easier way to do this. No, I'm not lazy at all but kinda weak now in my old age.

You could try something like this, http://www.amazon.com/Orbit-25-Foot-Spray-Nozzle-27890/dp/B0013I46NU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1411328153&sr=8-1&keywords=curly+hose, and just leave it connected all the time. I was thinking about doing this in my rig as well.

You will need to be sure to cap the tank line to avoid any leaks

I just hand tighten the connections and have never had any leaks. One tip would be to leave the snaps and bungees off on that side behind the sink and stand between the tent an trailer and hook everything up.
