Title: Water pressure
Post by: dp on September 12, 2014, 12:33:42 PM
Hi,
We are camping now and the water pressure is so strong there is just no way to adjust it down. I can from the outside but then you can not turn the water off at the sink, it just runs, lol. Kind of crazy. Maybe a better faucet? We only camp with elec/water, too old to rough it. If you turn it on it just splashes. Any ideas?

[font size="3"]You should always use a water pressure regulator to protect the RV from high system pressure. Sold by Camping Word, Amazon, maybe Wally world.

Highly recommend the pressure regulator. During my career as a fire inspector I had field several complaints regarding water pressure. Often I would note the pressure regulator had been removed because it had leaked and they would by bypass or replace with just pipe. A couple of times the water pressure was greater than 100 psi. Some of the parks would require that you have a pressure regulator.
