Title: Thinking about a 13QBB
Post by: freedom212 on September 01, 2014, 06:54:24 PM
Thinking about a 13QBB and wondering if a Chrysler Town and Country Mini-van could pull it OK.  In Mid-Michigan.  Thinking used.

Check your van's owners manual and report back with the tow rating for your particular options.    Off the cuff it's likely you can, but be careful in your consideration.  Loading 17 people and tons of gear in your van reduces your overall towing capacity.     Many years ago I nearly overheated and ruined my minivan's transmission running it too hard in the mountains towing a larger popup.    Be sure to add an additional tranny cooler if possible.

The T&C has a tow rating of 3,800 lbs (at least according to Trailer Life ratings 5 years ago) so it should be able to tow a 13 ok. A 13 probably has a loaded weight of under 3,000 lbs.
