Title: 10.0 Tent question
Post by: dp on September 01, 2014, 12:52:16 PM
Hi All,
My bimini bars when set up do not match the seams going across from one side to the other. I don't know if it matters or not. They are off maybe a total of 2 inches. Should I mess with them to try to adjust or just let them be. Have you noticed yours if they are straight across or not. Thanks,
    Ron

I don't think they are necessarily supposed to align with the seams.  Mine don't either.

That's funny because I have the same OCD issue. Every time I look at the roof of the tent I think to myself that I should make the seams line up with the bar. So far I have successfully resisted the urge. Maybe next year. ;)

Every time I setup I try to tweak it a bit to minimize any sag or droop in the fabric. I'm not so worried about the seams vs. avoiding any pooling of water. I do have the same desire to have the seam line up though and I figure since it seems to change a little bit with every setup maybe one day it will line up.
