Title: New 21rbs
Post by: solds88 on August 23, 2014, 07:09:11 PM
[p align="left"]Hello,

I'm a new member from Indiana. I purchased a new 2015 21RBS several weeks ago. I towed it home empty in a 15 mph crosswind @ 65 mph. I didn't notice any sway , no WDH or sway bar, and got an average of 13.4 on flat ground. My average dropped to about 12.5 in the hilly portion of my trip. But, not enough road time to get an accurate long range average. I'm towing with a 1500 5.3 liter 4x4 Silverado crewcab. I fix most everything myself as the dealer is too far away to make it a cost effective trip. So far I've only had a few very minor issues. The TV couldn't find any channels, the coaxial cables were cross connected. Most of the edges on the cabinet doors are very sharp and I need to file an ever so slight radius followed a black Magic Marker to hide my work. The single entry step going into the trailer is adequate unless you're old and arthritic, consequently I use a little box, which I built two travel trailers ago, as an extra step. All in all I'm very pleased with the build quality and the fact that it contains NO WOOD.
Happy camping, James

Welcome James. I to own a 2014 21RBS. My TV is a RAM 1500 quad cab HEMI.  I'm in North GA. I can relate to needing that extra step.  Dave.

Welcome, James. Where in Indiana are you? For more than 30 years, we lived in SE Indiana. Have an apartment in Louisville now, but we are currently in Chicago where my husband has a temporary assignment.

Dave and Leslie,

Thanks for the welcome. Leslie, I live near Kokomo, but I'm originally from the Cincinnati area.
