Title: Pics of new rig: Ridgeline and 14dbs on first real outing
Post by: ron on August 09, 2014, 02:50:46 PM
Here are two pics of our first real outing.  Good news is that the 14dbs really had no real  flaws at all.  The rear waterhose connection was a pain, but it was due to water being turned on and attempting to attach the hose.  The a/c worked fine. The refrigerator worked fine on electricity, stove was fine, and fans were fine.  Stereo system still sucks, but on a VERY low volume it does provide a decent sound.  Anything above a low volume still sucks.  still say this should be omitted for a portable Bluetooth system.  water system worked fine.  I had read on the yahoo bulletin board and some here, about the problems with these RVS, but so far, cross your fingers ......... our luck has been good.

I am even warming up to the factory supplied rug.  We head out next week for a 3-5 day  trip and several more to come as the weather cools.

Coming home from 3500 feet to 2200 feet over a 35 mile trip with moderate speeds of 45-55 I got 15mpg by the Ridgeline computer.  Very happy with both the Ridgeline and the Camplite.

I just purchased a new 14 db and the speakers buzzed at mid volume, so I unscrewed them and dumped out lots of styrofoam pellets. They work fine now. Hope this helps.
