I'm going to a dealer to look at Quicksilvers this weekend and have my eye on the 10. What accessories do you recommend for it? From the dealer, from LivinLite, and other stores. I have a lot of gear from tent camping, but this will be our first popup. What can't I live without, but don't know it yet :)
Honestly part of the reason I went with the QS 10.0 was because it didnt actually require anything extra that you wouldnt already have from tent camping. With that said, there are some things that make life easier.
1. Wheel chocks and leveling system. For chocks I use a couple pieces of 4x4 with a slight miter for better fit under the wheel. I also use a couple left over pieces of 1x6 fence boards for leveling blocks. The 4x4s work just fine. The 1x6s are not ideal but they get the job done.
2. Electrical adapter. I assume the new models still come with a 30 amp hook up which will require an adapter for you to plug into a standard household outlet or extension cord.
3. If they arent already included the 12v light/fan combos are not bad to have. I dont use them for the fans much but they provide plenty of light for what we need.
I think just about everything that I actually need while camping in our QS has come from my tent camping days.
What kind of camping do you plan on doing the most? Campgrounds, state/national parks, boondocking?

Thanks! The electrical adapter will be good to grab so we can to some test camping at home. I've got plenty of scrap wood. I definitely want the light/fan combo. I like having a fan running at night just for the white noise.
We've got plenty of sleeping bags, thermorests, lantern, phone chargers, etc, etc. Everything we needed to live out of a tent and the van. I liked tent camping...except for the sleeping, getting stuff wet, being on the ground, etc. Quicksilver really appealed to me. Can't wait to see one in person. I still have some concerns with the Quicksilver vs a traditional popup that I want to see for myself.
Majority of our camping is at Acadia National Park. LOVE it there. We want to try camping more places while our kids are a great age for it (5, 8, 10, 11).
Here's a few things you wouldn't have from tenting that you might want:
Bubble level to assist with leveling (we have an adhesive one stuck near the tongue).
Jack pads (protect your stabilizer jacks from getting scratched and avoid damaging soft asphalt)
Tire covers if you're storing it outside
Put those thermarests to good use under the stock foam mattress - they help a lot.
My must have accessories :
1. BAL leveler - so much easier than leveling blocks
2. Some kind of floor covering. I used interlocking foam flooring, but carpet or anything else would work. Those floors are COLD in the morning. And at least in the humid south, dew will form on the floor and can make it slippery.
3. Get the rear deck - that extra storage comes in handly, especially if you want to reduce your tongue weight a bit.
4. A poly weave rug for outside the door. It's so nice to have a clean space just outside to leave shoes and dirt.
Wish I had a rear deck!! If you can get that, I'm sure it would be worth it.
Also added a foam floor, covered by vinyl; DC fan; lots of stacking bins that we pack clothes into instead of luggage bags, ziptied hooks onto sides of bins; large mat for outside of camper to wipe sheet before coming in; DC cooler; tool box.
One time one bimimi pole actually unscrewed itself jiggling around on the road. Tool box was very handy.
Good luck!
Sue.
One thing I got to put in mine was a Nite Ize Gear Line. Put it in-between the to center Bimini poles. Does take an extra bit of Para cord to span the distance. http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag221/lww_81/GLN4_Feature_00_l_zpsb6254e9d.jpg
Our 8.1 we just got came with the electrical adapter and the lights, so maybe hold off on those for now.

Yes, I got the 10 and it came with awning, fan lights, adapter, camp stove, curtains, and a first aid kit which came in handy our first trip!
Got to have air for sure. I put carpet in mine because I do not like the floor. Otherwise the unit is great.
Here are my two cents:
- chalks
- the light/fan combo from LL
- back deck from LL
- leveling blocks
- battery
- tool bag (crescent wrenches, adjustable jaw wrenches, screw drivers...)
- FUSSES!!!!! (15W, 30W, and if you are like me 20W for the battery line fuse.)
- I like to keep a multi-meter on hand to tell where my battery is as far as % charge

I purchased all of my QS specific accessories with the trailer. If you want something that works specifically with the QS (i.e. fan/light combo, curtains, awning, etc.) I believe you will have to go through the LL dealer. For all the other accessories that are not QS specific I went to State Trailer (AC adapter, chalks) or Camping World (cover). Amazon is also a great resource (leveling plates). You can go to http://livinlite.com/8.0-features.php for a download of the "Standards & Options" which will give you a PDF of the options that are available for the QS through LL, but not prices. I hope this helps.
If you camp with power, heated mattress pads are wonderful. I never worry about being cold. In late winter you can pick them up on sale at Walmart. We have Walmart Sunbeam Twin sized on our 8.0 48" wide mattresses and the skirt stretches to fit just fine. The pad doesn't cover the whole mattress. I leave them on the mattresses covered by an elasticized bottom sheet. I detach just the controls when we close up.
I covered the floor with foam and enjoy it. We have the LL optional awning and it works well for cooking and lounging outside in rainy weather, and provides shade if you have the right orientation. We use Lynx levelers with a very cheap little 2 axis level and they were worth the price.
Check out Amazon for the 12v fan/ light
