[p]Hello all... will be putting deposit an a 6x15 toy hauler Tuesday... thought it might be a good idea to join here being a first time camper owner, had some good experiences on forums for other hobbies. [/p][p]
[/p][p]Will be hauling a 450 atv and a kayak plus associated gear, towed by a GMC Safari cargo van. Off grid camping mostly, I like to go to Crown land (basically land owned by the government, free to use) but will probably occasionally use the provincial parks [/p][p]
[/p][p]After a lot of research the vrv was the only trailer in the weight class that I'd purchase, anything in the 5000lb area was either made with cheap plywood (who brags about 5/8"??) or would be cost prohibitive to have shipped to Canada. Anything with a semblance of quality goes into a weight/size class I don't want to get into. [/p][p]
[/p][p]Already picked up a few tips and hope to learn more. Might even have a thing or two to contribute myself...[/p]
