Cannot find my paperwork, put it somewhere I'd not lose it but that, unfortunately, equates to can't find it- what is the recommended inflation pressure for the trailer tires?

Look at the tire sidewall. Common practice is to inflate the tires to the maximum inflation pressure specified on the tire sidewall. This works because trailer tires are not usually oversized for the trailer load. The same info should be on a label somewhere on the trailer and is applicable if your tires are the same size as originally supplied.
Be careful about relying on the sticker on the side of the trailer - make sure you look at the tires. I bought a 2016 16TBS with the off-road package. The sticker on the side of the trailer says to inflate to 65 psi. The tires say max inflation is 50 psi. The tires were not replacements - they are the ones that came from the factory.

The tongue sticker calls for ST205/75R14s at 50psi. The off road tires are BFG T/A KO LT195/75R14s rated at 65psi. Just proves some knowledge and thought are required. Does your 16TBS have dual or single axles and what tires came with it?[/font]
I have the single axle 16TBS with the off-road pkg - one of the first ones off the line. The tire are West Lake CR857+, steel belted radials, ST 235/75R15s. For single axle use they are max rated at 2340lbs at 50 psi. Looks like LL must have changed the tires when it went to the single axle models.
Thanks for the input, I will look more closely for a sticker. I am not sure about using the max PSI as the proper level as that is rarely the case for tires on autos and trucks but could be different for trailers- to much air and the trailer will bounce instead of roll over uneven spots in any road.

Use the maximum cold inflation pressure listed on the tire sidewall. Don't try to guess about tire pressure to make a trailer ride "smoother". Tire failure from improper inflation is way too common, given that it is so easily avoidable.
