Title: Toilet Cleaners
Post by: mrt on November 20, 2016, 03:37:57 PM
[font face="comic sans ms" size="3"]My wife asked me to query the panel to see what you use for cleaning the toilets.  We have used Comet but wonder if it affects the natural bio processes going on inside the tank. Our RV dealer, has this "safe" foaming stuff but I am loathe to pay the price for gimmicks.

We use Soft Scrub for the toilet, shower, and sinks. Cleans well and is gentle on the ceramic, plastic, seals, and tank "activity". Except for the once-per-year sterilization of the fresh water system in the spring, I avoid the use of chlorine based products in the camper (personal preference mostly).

I use Mrs. P to clean the toilet. How she does it is up to her.

Of course, she uses me for the dump station, so I think she is happy with the division of responsibilities.

"I use Mrs. P" that's a good one!

Camp on.
