I wanted to take a moment and update everyone on the state of the forum. We have many new members as well as many that have been here since the start. As some may know we worked out a deal with Livin Lite last year to fund the hosting services for this site. This is how we moved to a solution that allowed for behind the scenes upgrades such as internal storage for attachments and pictures. At this time we are nearing the end of that initial hosting period. I have been trying to work with the new management at Livin Lite to continue funding but so far we have no solid plan. Unfortunately this means that in about 2 weeks from the time of this post we will be faced with a potential shutdown of the site.
Rest assured I am working to find a way to avoid this outcome. I am investigating options such as moving the site to my own server. Another option may be to self fund the site. However, in all honesty the host provider is a bit on the pricey side, and despite a little ad revenue the forum has not consistently seen enough traffic to self fund 100%.
All that said, if you have pictures or postings that you would like to save I would recommend downloading/copying them over the next week or so.
Also if anyone feels so inclined I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to let Livin Lite know just how valuable a resource this site is. This is an owners community that has had a massive outpouring of support for all owners, I for one will do everything I can to keep this place up and running.
