Title: Looking for AC mod
Post by: firefighteremt on July 16, 2016, 02:14:57 PM
We have a qs6 and those of you with them or even familiar with them know that the AC unit is underneath the bed pointing at the door.  Seems like a very poor design to blow your cold air away from where you sleep and straight to a door. Only solution so far has been to put a fan near the doorway and try and circulate the air back to the bed when we are sleeping.  Sometimes it gets hot and humid in the south during summer.  Was curious if anyone has came up with or created a funnel like devise that will catch the cold air as it comes  out of the unit and turn it 180* back towards the bed.   Something that somewhat attaches to the AC units vents.

I've only camped in temperatures up to 87 or so. If I were going south or to desert areas, I'd get a fan to blow air AND get popup gizmos to reflect the suns rays back.
