Title: 12V Disconnect
Post by: tuonov4r on July 14, 2016, 03:01:27 PM
Hello, another newbie here.  Was wondering if anyone knows if there is a 12V battery disconnect on the QS 26' toy to prevent the battery from discharging?

My previous Weekend Warrior had a small switch to save the battery from a slow death.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Mine doesn't have one, but others have added them to the battery box. I just disconnect the terminal. Takes a minute.

For like $10 you can have a switch and not need a wrench.

I got a good marine single battery switch from Amazon. Battery stays fully charged now when stored.

Thanks for your feedback. Took your suggestion and hit Amazon for switch and mounted to battery box. Works great!
