Title: QS 8.0 On The Oregon Trail
Post by: idaho on June 26, 2016, 01:28:46 PM
We purchased our "previously owned" 2013 QS 8.0 last October, but we didn't get her out until last month.  Our first shakedown trip was not far from home just in case we had "issues".  We camped at Three Island Crossing State Park where the many of the emigrants following the Oregon Trail crossed the Snake River with their wagons and stock.  Our little QS performed flawlessly!  We are now ready for a longer trip!

You can see our QS in the distance in the middle photo.

Nice setup, you live in a great state to explore with your QS. With that TV, you can go almost anywhere.

I was there last year, my mom saw her first tumble weed there. We were camped there when a storm blew through and the tumble weeds did at least 30 mph threw the campground. Not something you here a lot in KY. We packed one back to KY. Awesome pictures, thank for sharing.

On our first outing we also went to Shoshone Falls on the Snake River.  At 212 feet, it is higher than Niagara Falls.

We also went to Craters Of The Moon where the Apollo astronauts performed part of their training at Craters of the Moon Lava Field.
