I have enjoyed my QS 6.0 for three years now and have been thinking about "moving up" to an 8.0 to have more space. Having an A/C would also be nice. The prices of new models ($8500 - $9500 or so) was higher than I wanted to go, however. I stumbled across a 2015 8.0 model on Craigslist listed for $6500 and made the two-hour drive to meet the owner and look at the camper. It was in great shape, only used a few times, was the exact color that I wanted (silver), and included several "extras" (awning, privacy curtains, cassette toilet and privacy tent, 2-burner propane stove, extended deck on the back, and A/C). It seemed like a sweet deal to me so I offered him the full asking price. Not sure if I should have offered a lower price or not, but I now have two Quicksilvers in my garage! (Anyone want to buy a 6.0?) I've been out in the 8.0 three times now and everything is working well.
