This will be our 4th trip to the Eastern Sierras. ..specifically, the June Lake loop, Silver Lake RV site. It's gorgeous up there. The sites are sort of cramped together but the area is great. Wife and I in the QS 10.0. Mom in law and sister in law have rented RVs that are delivered to their sites. We are the main campsite for dinner and hanging until 10 PM each night.
Then trips planned in Sept, Oct, Nov. Doubtful I can get away From Memorial Day through Labor day except for the aforementioned trip. I work 6-7 days per week during that time. TV post production and concert sound system work all summer...
there are some really nice mountain campgrounds I'm looking at for a possible 2 days, one night escape
wishing, and planning
One week countdown to our 8 day trip to Eastern Sierras. Getting some last minute cleaning, planning and supplies.
I have a fuse problem to solve. Last time we used the QS it blew the fuse when hooked to shore power, a regular 15a circuit.
I will check back to see what the fuse problem was....
Nice Sierra areas.....
I replaced the 15a fuse and everything works perfectly. Might have been the last time I ran shore power. I put a 30a to Edison adaptor on the end of the power cord. The fuse blew out. ??

wishing, and planning[/quote]Looks like a nice area (agree the site map makes it look crowded) and not to far from Reno. What's there to do in that area? We went to Death Valley in March and have camped around Lake Tahoe. We love the Sierras.
last year we had a fantastic site on the edge of the wilderness so we looked out at trees and mountains on one side. So, we requested that same row and didn't get it. Oh well. it is a little crowded but my wife, mom in law and sister in law like the clean facilities. If I had a better bathroom solution I'd just as soon go to the regular campground there and not the resort. Still, I'm on vacation.
great fishing on the lake and a gorgeous river. A cool little cafe for awesome breakfasts. Boat rentals. Horseback riding. We take side trips to mammoth, Bodie, Mono and up to the entrance to Yosemite.
