Title: added gas tank mount to Quicksilver 10
Post by: cawanderer on March 28, 2016, 11:36:32 AM
Hi Everyone-

My rig did not have LP gas from the factory so I mounted a tank on the frame just in front of the battery box.

I used a kit designed for mounting tanks onto forklifts. The plan is to use a longish hose to run my Buddy heater, camp stoves etc..

The vertical piece (a hitch receiver tube mounted vertically used to hold a boat support brakcet) was already there (from previous owner).

I am looking forward to having a secure and accesible place for my gas tank!

Have a good day everyone[attachment id="1281" thumbnail="1"]

I have the 2016 QS 10.0 and ordered it with the LP.  I honestly wish I hadn't because we live in FL and it is always too hot to use the gas stove or heater inside the camper.  But thought I would share how it came from the factory.
