Hi everyone! I know this isn't Livin Lite related, but it's been pretty dreary (gloomy) on these boards lately, so in order to lighten things up a little, I thought I would pass along a picture of this "RV" that some friends of ours just came across somewhere down in Texas. The owners, who designed it themselves, brought it here from Germany and have traveled all over the world in it to such places as Europe, Central America, South America, and Africa. The front has a steel grill in case of hitting animals (deer, moose, buffalo, etc). Atop the cab are enormous lights for safety if needed when boondocking in forests. Obviously, it's pretty much bear proof (or people proof if needed), and the clean water and black and grey tanks are enormous. They can probably live comfortably for several weeks if they conserve water. Our friends were not invited inside but said that it looks even more like a S.W.A.T. vehicle up close. I think it could use a few more windows myself. Must be nice to have that kind of money!

SWAT my big ole bahookie! This is obviously a post zombie apocalypse command center!
Actually, I think it is an armoured personnel carrier with more mods than charliem ever thought of.
Unimogs are famous in the overlanding world. Google "unimog camper" for lots of crazy examples around the world. It would be fun to start with a bare chassis and build just what you wanted.
[font size="3"]Do Unicorns with unibrows drive Unimogs?........................................Sorry.
