Title: Outside spray hose
Post by: shark24 on March 09, 2016, 04:34:47 PM
Just bought a 2013 bhs and need to find a spray hose that will fit the exterior shower to wash dirt from boys and dog before entering. Where may I find one without having to order and wait on one?

Thank you

Do you have a local camping world or decent dealer near by? The quick connect hose is not something common at most big box stores from what I've seen.

>> [a href="http://www.amazon.com/Phoenix-PF267003-Coil-Hose-Kit/dp/B002P2YGEM/ref=pd_bxgy_263_img_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=00C3NVK81C25M2K5QMZH"]Here at Amazon[/a] << is a replacement for the original hose. It is 15' long -- big enough to clean Clifford the Big Red Dog. I believe this Phoenix brand is the same as what Livin'Lite provide. What they don't seem to have on amazon is the Phoenix sprayer end. They do have quick-connect ends that you can use with a regular garden hose but I doubt you'd get any more than a trickle out of a normal garden hose when using the pump. The coiling blue hose by Phoenix has 3/8" diameter hose so it helps keep the pressure up to a useful amount - more important of course when your using the hose with your camper's water pump. (Typically you'd get more pressure with shore water).

When looking at Amazon I came across this: >> [a href="http://www.amazon.com/Phoenix-PF147007-Spray-Away-Storing-Sprayer/dp/B002P31OIW/ref=pd_sim_263_10?ie=UTF8&dpID=41UIVeuSaEL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=1AMD0AXNVA1FMMWK0XXX"]Hose thingie is kinda-neat-o as a possible mod.[/a] << I'd be hesitant to have this on the outside since the door latch looks really cheap & you might lose your hose on the road. Instead I can imagine it installed in the bathroom where it could be helpful in cleaning up big messes like my >> [a href="http://www.designstop.com/2012/09/oh-shit.html"]Horrific Thetford Incident[/a] << or just helping to clean out the toilet bowl.

We have a camping world 50 miles away. I just need the specific piece I need to get it hooked up. Quick connect won't work so what is it I need? I can get the hose should be an easy find with spring almost here. Just need to know what to ask for when calling the camping places.

Thank you!

On my Camplite the outside "shower" is an access box with a set of taps in it and a quick connect for that very hose I linked above. Are you sure yours is different?

[font size="3"]The Amazon link from PEIslander looks to be the replacement hose but here's the same from D&W, the original supplier: [a href="http://www.dwincorp.com/products.php?product_id=68"]http://www.dwincorp.com/products.php?product_id=68[/a].  Cheaper but you still have to pay shipping and wait. The small end fits the connector on the CL and you will have to add a standard garden hose sprayer. D&W also supplies the longer sewer hose carriers many of us have used.
