Replaced the 7 pin plug and cable on the Mighty 11 today. Probably have 20 to 25,000 miles on the camper. Purchased a new plug/cable assembly from Redneck Trailer Supply during a visit to their showroom at Lincolnton NC.

What happened to the old one? I try to keep my connector clean by sticking it under the propane tanks when not in use to keep sunlight and rain off of it. When I was a newbie earlier last year I left it unplugged a few time because I was concentrating on the WDH connection. Luckily it never dragged the ground. Now I plug in the lights before the WDH setup.
The old one separated where the cable goes into the plug, possible fatigue. Keep the plug under the battery when not in use too, no LP tanks on this trailer. Always remove the plug by pulling the plug, not the cable. Could have purchased just the plug with cable clamp, but decided to purchase the plug/cable assembly.
husky makes an inexpensive holder for the 7 pin connector so you can store it on the tongue jack

Thanks for posting this!....I just ordered one.
Looks like my next 3-d printing project! Thanks!
I've thought about upgrading my 7-blade connector with one of these magnet ones. >>[a href="http://ezconnector.com/"]http://ezconnector.com/[/a]<<

Have not seen one before! That's clean and looks durable!
Very interesting 7 pin plug. Not sure it is worth the investment on my old truck. Certainly for my new tow vehicle I am currently researching it will be considered.
[font size="3"]One thought on the magnetic connector: I see no wiping action on engagement. Hence the o-rings and storage covers. This may lead to corrosion problems and poor connections. But it is a unique idea.
