This is your roving reporter, Leslie, signing in from Tampa Florida at what is billed as "The World's Largest RV Show". The big headline of the day is this: Livin Lite is NOT HERE!!! NO CAMPLITES ANYWHERE!!!
Your trusty reporter came prepared with her notebook so she could fill everybody in on the latest poop - er - I mean scoop. I guess I will look at some Class A's that I wanted to purchase when I won that $1.5 B lottery. I am sorry to report that didn't work out either.

Be careful out there. http://www.tbo.com/news/breaking-news/hunt-for-black-bears-starts-saturday-limit-is-320-bruins-20151018/
LivinLite will be at the Toronto show in February:

Can anyone on this board go to the Toronto show to fill us in on the latest from LL?

Change of topic, but not by much since RVs can barely be discussed before the sore subject of repair issues and good service, or lack thereof, is soon raised. That said, are there any certified RV techs on this board? Does anyone personally (socially) know of a certified RV tech outside of a repair bay?
That was back in October! Yu'z a booga bear, Pinstriper!
If you are worried about bears in FL (and you should be) just wait until you see the bears they got in Canadia !
Incredible attendance at the Tampa RV Show this Saturday! All parking lots filled to capacity by early afternoon requiring many to be turned away.
Tornadic weather overnite on Saturday and 'emergency alert' at 4a telling us to find shelter immediately sent us fleeing our Livin Lite, in our pajamas, in search for stick and brick shelter (no basements in FL). Learned this a.m. that grandparents covering their visiting grandchildren in a bathtub were killed just two miles away.
Suffice it to say, a sleepless night resulted in our missing the RV show today. Not complaining, just sharing...and giving thanks for the gift of life.

Yes it was a wild night last night (here in Clermont). Glad you were OK, and felt bad about the news reports regarding those killed.

Just curious gw -- how did you receive that emergency alert? Do you have one of those weather radio things? I don't so unless there's a warning siren or panic in the street I don't know how I'd be alerted + I avoid watching the TV news and I don't wear pajamas ;) (If I fled the trailer there would be panic in the streets!).
[p]We have Weather Alert receivers that we use at home and while away from home and we also have a plan in place in case of emergency, regardless of the type. We also take frequent trips where we stay in motels/hotels and we bring our own smoke and CO Detector.[/p]

Good question, PEI! We were surprised when our smart phone, turned off and plugged in for charging, suddenly came alive with a warning sound I'd be hard pressed to identify, synched with a bright yellow screen warning us to take shelter. We did not know this system existed for smart phones, but very glad to know it now. The emergency alert did not transfer to my 'old school' cell phone.
BTW, it is hard to imagine no pajamas during the cold winters in the snowy North! You must have very good insulation.
