....because we made the BIG DECISION to sell our house and go full time for a while and bought a class A. Can't afford to keep both so must SADLY part with our Camplite.
It is immaculate and scrupulously cared for. Like new. Stored indoors in a heated shop. It has the jackknife sofa, 22" flatscreen TV, skylight in the shower, upgrade queen mattress. We put new upgraded tires on it last summer, installed a padded foam floor, SeeLevel monitor, and all the homey touches like mirrors, clock, and tons of Command hooks. We even added an obviously needed shelf in the cabinet over the bathroom sink ....don't know why the manufacturer didn't. Non-smokers and no pets.

We have loved this trailer and I will try not to cry when the new owner drives it away.
Although sorry to see you selling your LL I am very happy for you undertaking full time RVing! I dream of going full time eventually myself. Best of luck selling the trailer!
I wish you were a little closer to Texas. Or maybe a long road trip is in order.
Good luck with selling the LL. I (Joan) am a little jealous of your move to FT. We wish you the best!
Sorry to see you are leaving LL, but congratulations on full-timing RV in a Class A. Come back every once in a while to update us..
We drove from Oregon to Arkansas and back to buy this trailer. We just made fun trip out of it. And the savings of one third off the new price made it more than worth it. So yeah, come on over!

Congratulations, Brenda! Waaaah... :'( ! Just a wee bit jealous about you going full-time!
Could you share more about the 'Class A' that you bought, as well as the learning curve traveled before making the purchase?
LLites are definitely not cut out for full-time RVing and while we may never be full-timers, we sure enjoy dreaming and even love the idea of part-time RVing or 'workamping'. Would love to escape the Florida summers and see Maine, Alaska and all parts in between.
If this is not the appropriate forum to discuss your Class A, is there another one you can point us to learn more about it and the Class A market in general? Sure appreciate it!
BTW, you've staged and promoted your Camplite very well on Craigslist. Excellent ad. Someone is going to get a good deal. :D

BTW, you've staged and promoted your Camplite very well on Craigslist. Excellent ad. Someone is going to get a good deal. :D
Thanks, GW! We don't have "custody" of our Class A yet .... the loan (which will be very short term), insurance, etc. is all arranged and the big inspection is in a couple of days. We'll probably drive her home next week...? It's a 2006 Country Coach Inspire 360 Genoa in excellent condition that we bought from a private party. 40 feet of luxuriousness. We've been looking at them for a couple of years, even before buying our Camplite. After deciding they were too expensive (because we wanted diesel) we scaled down to the Camplite.
We've always had the plan to eventually downsize from our 3500 sq ft, three-story house. Now we're in our 60s and after watching our property taxes go through the roof (gotta love Oregon O_o ) and heading into retirement, we decided to sandwich a little full-time RVing in between this house and our next. So the house is being prepped to go on the market. Then after a year or so, (maybe more, maybe less) we'll decide where we want to land and settle into our next and hopefully final home. I'd like to move into the motorhome while we sell our house.
The Husband has been researching and dreaming of motorhomes for several years, and we have visited LOTS of dealerships and shows even when we weren't really "shopping" (a weird hobby of ours) and he decided on a Country Coach because of their quality and reputation. Solid wood cabinets, solid countertops, tile, etc. etc. So we've been watching and this one came along. The unfortunate previous owners had to sell it for quite a bit less than they owe, which is why you don't buy them brand new and then finance them for 20 years. But they took excellent care of it. Less than 20,000 mi. and always stored indoors.
I'm nervous about taking this beast out on the road, but Husband is confident. After we're done and back into a "sticks-n-bricks", I'll be tempted to go back to another Camplite like the one we're selling. Or maybe a smallish Sprinter chassis, Class B type. We'll see.
Husband is chomping at the bit to go to Alaska. I'm not that into Alaska, but I do love road trips and where he goes, I go. We got to visit New England last fall and I fell in love with Maine. So I'd love to go back there and spend several weeks exploring every inch of it. Plus see parts of southeast U.S. where I've never been. And everything in between. But our first few trips will be very local while we get the hang of it. Let's hope fuel prices stay low!
Oh, and to top off your jealousy (sorry!) we're installing a motorcycle lift on the back and taking our BMW bike along with us. :D
Did that answer your questions? Thanks for asking.
Thank you, Brenda! We did a general on-line search of the 'Country Coach' line and were very impressed with this higher end diesel pusher. Looks like Winnebago just took Country Coach over last year. It's good to see that so far, Thor hasn't gobbled them up too.
For fun, we crawled around a few Class A units this evening and it was good to see that RV sales people still welcome 'lookers'. Keep us posted on how it goes with your new acquisition and if you ever come to Florida, let us know....you'll find a warm welcome here!
