I wish I could take credit for this, but the customer was the one who came up with it. I just stole a couple of cushions out of another camplite. He was thinking of getting the sofa in place of the dinette, but then he thought of this instead. It worked very well. It gives great versatility to the trailer.
There were no modifications at all. Just an additional seat cushion and two more back cushions and it was a sofa. It could probably stand a few pillows, but in the overall picture, that's pretty simple.

Thanks for sharing again!
I was just asking my husband why LivinLite couldn't make a U seating in the slide on our 16TBS. We wanted the couch, but if we had thought about it might have done a mod like this one. He even has two more cabinets for storage! Great thinking!!
And that incredibly brilliant customer was Ron from East TN, now with a matching silver 2014 Ridgeline and 14DBS courtesy of the fine folks: Dave and staff at D&H RV. Highly recommened. Thanks for the extra cushions.
Eventually we will get time to redo our seat cushions so that all match each other with the same fabric, they are slightly different. [ OR LL, could just send us three matching with that very stiff foam :) ]
This is best of both worlds for us, dinette and couch.
Ron,
I loved the idea that you came up with! That was something that I wondered if LivinLite had an idea of doing as they now have a U-seating in one of their 16dbs'. We have put an interlocking vinyl tile in on our floor. It has made a huge difference! And I agree with you; Dave and staff from D@H RV are probably the best around as far as an RV dealership. We had the pleasure of talking to them about a year ago and wished that we had bought from them. Welcome to the forum and enjoy your rig!
