Title: Thanksgiving camping
Post by: leslie on November 16, 2015, 01:14:34 PM
So, another holiday is coming. We have not camped during warm weather holidays - 4th of July, Memorial Day, etc. because campgrounds are generally overrun with children. Thanksgiving might be different. Is anybody planning a camping trip for Thanksgiving?

I winterized our Bearcat yesterday, so we're done for the season. Probably be early March before we go camping again...

Not on T-Day but this weekend and next weekend. Three nights this weekend, then a hard winterize for the rest of the season.

Off season camping is great but with limited places to go weekending around here.

No Thanksgiving plans, but it's been so warm in Michigan this month that I'm tempted. I'm not going to take our Camplite out on salty roads, so we'll probably spend fall/winter on mods and maintenance on the TV and camper.

Did last year at Patagonia Lake State Park in southern Arizona, nights were cold days beautiful. We smoked a turkey and had a blast.
