[p]So, I have a busted storage compartment lock, so I'll be changing them out.[/p][p]
[/p][p]I'm gonna go with the combination style locks. What I don't know is - when length to get ?[/p][p]
[/p][p]On the Amazon, I see 5/8, 7/8, and 1 1/8. Which do we need - I presume the door thickness is the same from model to model.[/p]

I uninstalled them about 5 days later but that wasn't the locks fault, I got tired of putting on reading glasses just to open the compartment.
[font size="3"]I used these: [a href="http://www.amazon.com/Combi-Cam-7850R-L-Combination-Chrome-Finish/dp/B000W7DBWA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1444016928&sr=8-2&keywords=combi-lock"]http://www.amazon.com/Combi-Cam-7850R-L-Combination-Chrome-Finish/dp/B000W7DBWA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1444016928&sr=8-2&keywords=combi-lock[/a]
They are 1-1/8". There is a slight interference between the knurled exterior knob and the trim on the doors. I corrected this with a Dremel tool on the door frame, but TinkeringTechie found that flattening the supplied washer and using it on the outside of the door also worked. You should also retain the arms from the old locks because they might be useful in the installation. All from memory; it's been a long time. Techie had some pictures, but I can't find them. Good Luck.

So I measured the old cylinder and it came in at 1 1/8, ordered those. We'll see what happens.
Here's the post Charlie was talking about:

Mine are still working really well.
