Title: Excited to be picking up my new Quicksilver 10
Post by: bear99 on September 18, 2015, 01:37:14 AM
[font size="2" face="arial"]Leaving Seattle tomorrow for Salt Lake City area to pickup new rig, hard to find.  From there taking it out on it's maiden voyage to Yellowstone for 3 days and then back home.

Made it home after a pulling the QS10 through Utah, Idaho, Montana and Washington.  I was a little worried about staying warm in West Yellowstone but an electric heater kept the temp about 50 degrees with a 29 degree low, took plenty of blankets with me. Love towing this trailer with the Honda CRV, mileage was about 25mpg and I just set the cruise and let it wind up to go up hills. I was by myself and setting it up was no problem but a 2nd person would be nice (especially rolling up the cover).  Going to build a custom drawer set for the left hand upper kitchen cabinet and shelves for right side. Got some other ideas for improved lighting and adding a 12 volt water pump, already planning next years trips.
