Title: LL products at RV dealerships or shows
Post by: david2015 on September 09, 2015, 07:16:15 PM
Hi,

I want to check out LL products at RV dealerships or shows.  Is anyone aware of a west coast dealership or show that has a good cross section of LL products?  Anything in the next 6 months and between San Francisco and Seattle is good for me.

Thanks,

David

Just checked on the Hershey,pa show next week. There will be LL products there (camplite and pop ups) at least. Located in area where Harolds rv sales out of Bath, pa is found.

Not sure where you all are located, but a couple weeks ago we stopped at Grumbine's near Harrisburg, PA. They are a camping world dealer and had two QS 10's and I believe a 22' TT on the lot. All of them were trade ins. The 22'TT was considered used even though it had never been used, it still had plastic wrap on everything. We didn't look at the QS 10's as we have one already. They are listed as a dealership for the Coleman QS10 and had them listed earlier this year on their website. Not too sure if the dealership or just the saleswoman is against the LL products. She didn't seem too interested in showing us the TT. As for a dealership in MD there is Leo's Rv center near Annapolis. They have several campers on their website but I have not seen them take any to the shows in MD.  Other than those two I haven't really seen too many dealerships near us. We had one locally and that lasted about 6 months. The salesmen did not like the LL product and tried to convince you to buy any of the other brands that they offered.

OK...I hope so.   I didn't see any last year and according to the list above Harolds will only have crossroads products on display.

EDIT:  Edited to say yea I see the tiny LL area on the map now!   Not listed on their list of vendors though, so I figured no way.    Thanks!

Todd

[/quote]   Almost all the other brands have a higher markup than LL does....    The salesman will make more money selling you a more traditionally built Forest River, keystone, or some other product...just my strong hunch from experiences when I bought my camplite last year.

I drove to Minneapolis to get a Axxess and brought it back to WA. The dealer in Everett, WA was worthless. I ordered parts directly from the factory to modify it. There are things you need to play with on these trailers for sure. I look at it as the van I used to have and hope every trailer I come across is different. Mine survived Burning Man.

Message for tlbones:  how does your Nissan frontier tow your 16db?  I have a 2011 frontier (4L) and am considering the 16tbs. Thanks. Also I wrote about Harold's rv. I called them and they stated they would have several models there on display.
