If you were to buy a TT that was NOT from LivinLite , what would you buy? With in your same budget an trailer size.

I think there is a fellow with the call name funpilot that was on this forum for a while; he was buying a 28 footer and then changed to something else due to issues with the trailer?

I probably would have gone for something like this Work and Play:

But it is 2000 lbs heavier than my LL with less usable cargo space...

We were very close to pulling the trigger on a winnebago micro-minnie 1706:

I just looked, originally they only had the 1706, now they've expanded the 7ft. wide micro-minnie lineup!

Tough call. We were underwhelmed with the options on the market. Mrs. P went from reluctant about an RV to enthusiastic when we saw a CL 14 and 16 with real toilets and slideouts in our size/weight range.

We had rented and thought about RPOD, were interested in Scamp and similar fiberglas, and of course she loves the look of the Airstream. But all of those have airliner bathrooms.

There isn't anything else in the same price range I would have considered.  We probably would have purchased an Airstream TT but it would have been much more expensive. I really appreciate the utility of a CampLite TT.

We were all-in for an RPod 17'er. Then last minute we found a LL with more to offer for a mere $1500 more so we grabbed it. Thank goodness.

I was considering a Work N Play 21UL Smaller, but heavier less storage space. But the all aluminum walk-on roof and sturdy construction were big draws.

I was looking at an aerolite, I think it was about 17', with tip-out bunks in the front and back. It would have been a lot less $$, but... I was not impressed with the cheap wood cabinets. I knew whatever I got, that it was going to have a tip-out bunk.

I was looking at a used RPOD or a new Jay Flight Swift SLX 184BH...both in the $10k range.  I liked both of them, but sub-par materials and build quality (compared to LL), combined with my goal of finding something light enough to tow with my '97 4Runner meant that ultimately I went with a used 13QBB for about the same price.  No regrets!
