Title: New from Georgia
Post by: kiyote on July 07, 2015, 10:06:44 PM
Looking at the camplite 11 or 13.  Need it just big enough for me, daughter, my mom and dog.  Anyone have pics of the 13 with tip out bunk on side?  I can't find any via Google.

How close are you to Buford, GA?  I bought my 21RBS at Southland. Good folks.  Welcome to the forum.

Isn't that pretty much where all the Walking Dead episodes are shot ?

Oh, and on topic: when you say "daughter" and "dog", how big a daughter, and how big a dog ?

I ask because some models the dinette-ette is big enough for a pre-teen child, no more.

I think you're probably looking at a unit with bunk beds and slipping between a dinette and bed.

Also, I know it won't be enough, but what's your tow vehicle ?

Yes not far from the zombies!

Daughter is 4 and dog is about 50 lbs (Aussie).

have a Santa Fe limited and Ford Explorer sport trac.  TV will be the truck.

With the sport trac as the tv, and a small child, you can get into any CL short of the 21's.

I *think* you will find that the tip-out bed means you give up the bunk beds. You either get the two bunk beds, or a double-sized tip-out. Not both.

Personally, in your shoes, I'm going 16 tbs or bhb.

So the sport trac is good enough to haul the 16?  I figured I would have to do the 11 or maybe the 13?  More options to choose from!

Check the for sale area on the forum. Is see a 16 BHB for sale in South Carolina by one of our members. You might get a deal and it's not too far away to go and see.

by the way his price is not out of line. We sold our 2013 16DB for $21,000 in March.
