I mentioned on the yahoo site that where do you go to weigh your camper. One person said he bought a scale to weigh the tongue. I did not know you should do this or do I know how. I have a 10.0. Thanks for any suggestions. I just want to be safe.
[p]Here's what I use with my 16DB. Use it leveled with some wood on the top and bottom. Use it as you would a normal scale. Make sure you read it with the tongue at the same height as your ball is. I doubt you will exceed the limit of this scale with a 10.0? 36 bucks delivered.... It pays to weigh the tongue especially if you are near the limit of your TV like we are. But that's only one reason for doing so.[/p][p]

in case you are worried about exceeding the weight of a bathroom scale...

I can do the CAT scale not too far from my home. They charge 10 bucks. I want to weigh my TV and camper together and just the camper. Thanks all,
Ron
[p]What you will get is the truck+TW and the rest of the trailer separate. You then go, unhook the trailer, then reweigh the truck alone. The reweigh of the truck alone will cost you another $3.[/p][p]
[/p][p]On the initial weigh the truck and tongue are on a different weight pad than the trailer axle is. It will show as two different measurements.[/p]
