1) Fantastic fan installed
2) Longer sewer hose tube installed
3) WDH hitch ordered, got a 3347, this is the version with the 8 inch drop or rise and the 4-3/8 frame clamp.
next on the chopping block will be an easier way to drain the fresh water tank. Tomorrow this will happen.
Flooring will be added after next trip.
Picked up a bunch of the 24" X 24" gray foam interlock floor tiles on the weekend. No more cold floors for us. Our local DIY store had 15% off.
OK, Tincan, you're on your way. But just getting started. Take the time to cut and fit the floor tiles everywhere you can, including inside the cabinets. The CL needs insulation.
Check with Furpod when you get back and he'll have a bunch more mods for you. Then check back with me and I'll have 15-20 more. I'm up to 31 significant mods post delivery. Whew! Only a few more on my maybe list, but never say never.
Camp on!

I would like to know how you improve the fresh water drain. It is a royal pain to crawl under there to open and close the valve.

See this thread it might help you [a href="http://aluminiumcamperforum.com/index.php/topic=66.0.html"]http://aluminiumcamperforum.com/index.php/topic=66.0.html[/a]
I will check it out Thank You
hey mdp
My dear friend and fellow campsite owner, GleamB, was just visiting me on his way to Maine and showed me how he had relocated the fresh water valve to the side of his trailer. He simply unscrewed the existing valve, went to Lowes, bought a 1/2" male and female adapter and about 4 feet of 5/8" clear, reinforced tubing and two hose clamps. Said it took him less than 1/2 an hour to do. I am doing mine this weekend.
You can see pictures of his installation if you go to livinliteforum.com.
Easy peasy
Got the mod done for the fresh h20 tank. Can now drain from side of trail without crawling under it. Thank you all.
Charlie, I have to believe I am near the end, we have done all the things you list with these additions/exceptions since we picked it up in Rockford IL April 2nd 2015:
21 BHS with XL Package
From the dealer:
1. Dual six volt batteries
2. Black out Package/power jack
3. Ball bearing slide out for front storage compartment
4. Roof vent covers
5. 2 5/16 coupler with side bolts
I think several things became standard in 2015 on our unit that you had to add like the vinyl/rubberized flooring, skylight in BR, power jack, outlets, LED lights, thank level monitors, but no black tank flusher.
Since we got it home last April:
1. Radial tires
2. Hooks everywhere, mirrors
3. Battery cut off to stop draining batteries when in storage (basically a quick disconnect from battery)
4. Our trailer did not have the small emergency brake battery(already wired correctly for main battery charging)
5. Bigger sewer hose tube, rhino hoses, extensions etc.
6. Insulated all exposed water lines under trailer and wheel wells inside trailer
7. Modified/moved fresh water tank drain valve to be near the hot/cold water drain valves
8. Spray foamed 2-3 inches of closed cell foam under trailer, then 1 inch in cargo/slide storage areas
9. Coated aluminum roof with white silicone roof coating
10. Replaced all three Heng's vortex 1 speed fan guts with 5 speed fan guts (all done from inside)
11. Added 2x4 aluminum section to back bumper for more strength for bike rack
12. Added a Swagman bike rack
13. Changed all cargo locks from key to the circle type key locks
14. Cut styrofoam insulation piece and inserted into entry door window/shower sky light, both are removable
15. Installed the 3M ball type magnetic catches on all upper storage cabinets to hold them open when needed
16. Installed a Crane wifi signal booster (actually this is portable)
17. Installed indoor/outdoor/humidity temperature gauge
18. Installed digital thermostat replacing the gas heater thermostat
19. Installed heater strip in AC unit ( one of the top three mods made)
20. Replaced dinette cushions with marine type thicker/firmer foam
21. Used old dinette foam (glued together 3M spray adhesive) for new bunk bed mattress covered by foam topper
22. Foam topper for queen bed
23. Replaced the show head with Oxygenics shower head
24. Changed out plastic shower curtain for woven cloth cut to fit
25. Added curtain screen for more privacy in bunks and bathroom (portable)
26. Added plastic slide out drawer containers from the Container Store (to all bottom cabinets)
27. Purchased additional electrical cable/portable surge protector
28. Purchased water filters/pressure regulator/hose connectors etc.
29. Changed out weak gas struts on storage door lift (queen bed and bunk beds)
30. Purchased Sherline tongue weight scale (my 21BHS is right at 700 lbs)
31. Purchased Andersen Weight Distribution Hitch
32. Purchased Andersen crescent trailer levelers
33. Purchased Andersen Crescent type jack for raising one axle to fix flats (used now for tongue jack base)
34. Misc. stuff like rugs, outdoor rugs, lights, levels, Calgon, Borax, dish soap for black tank etc.
35. Aluminum step to bridge first step into trailer
36. Made a very narrow/tall trash can out of styrofoam board insulation to fit in space between slide out and refrigerator.
37. Purchased small dehumidifier but marginal help, also the plastic crystal dehumidifier pots
38. Purchased two 2000 watt portable generators for boon docking (only used once)
39. Added a inside door handle to the screen door
40. One last thing, suction cup containers for the bathroom supplies soap, shampoo etc.
Things I want to add in the future:
1. Dash cam and cam for back of trailer
2. New counter top/sink/faucet
3. Take out top door frame to bathroom (I am 6'2") to cut down on head carnage
4. Figure out way to add two small comfortable chairs/loveseat and keep small table in slide dinette area
5. Upgrade TV antenna, not sure about his one yet, we are OK with TV and speakers for now
6. Somehow add dimmer switch for all inside trailer LED lighting, not sure if the current lights are disable
7. Low Profile AC hush kit.
8. Add one inch or so aluminum strip to slide out shelf to keep stuff from falling off when traveling
9. May need a small inverter someday for battery DC to AC power when stopped at Walmart parking lot overnight
Things right now I do NOT think I need to add:
1. Upgraded tank level indicators
2. Black Tank flusher
3. Inverter
All the mods are directly proportional to the amount of time spent in the trailer. Our short trips are three nights but the longest trip has been 8 nights; nothing like some of the other LivinLite forum members!

Charlie and Monte: You 2 are an inspiration; now stop it! :D . Others have gone off the deep end too, like whoofit and tinkeringtechie. These campers are so much fun for tinkerers!
Just for fun, I think I'll compile a master list of what everyone has done and get Sean to post it as a stickie. It will take a while, though, because it will be a long list.

But that would be a big job and probably require at least a case of brew to accomplish. 8-)
I think a master list would be awesome! My bride agrees with Merlin, Stop It! I told her we were almost there, I told her I had to complete a version of Charlies table stabilization! We gotta have a dash cam and what about chairs on the slide??
